It is a fund raiser! It is a festival! It is a carnival! It's one of Cedar Rapids' best! Our Sweet Corn Festival provides something for everyone. It's fun for the whole family.

Among the many activities to choose from, there is Bingo, carnival rides, children's games, a variety of food choices, a country store, a raffle, an "over 21" area with live music bands and much, much more!

We are proud of the community of folks who turn out to help make this fundraiser a whopping success. With hundreds of volunteers we shucked, scrubbed and served fourteen tons of sweet corn last August.

We are further proud say that our festival is a community event that draws folks back each year--to attend as well as to help. Even people who have moved away from Cedar Rapids come back here to husk corn, serve pies, work in the gaming areas, or assist this event in various ways.

And the taste of the corn? Is it any good? It's delicious Iowa grown sweet corn! People line-up to buy it. We sell an ear of corn for 50 cents, or three ears for one dollar.

If you have never attended our festival, we'd like to take this opportunity to invite you to join us. The festival is held annually each August, and with FREE PARKING, FREE ADMISSION and great people like yourself, you are sure to have fun!
